Ashgabad, TURKMENISTAN

Salaam, my friend! My name is Aziz. I live in Turkemistan and help support my family by selling hats with my father. These hats are very Turkmen! They are made of sheep’s wool so they are very fluffy, but also very warm. Mostly, the farmers and sheep herders wear them, but as it gets colder in the winter, even city people are glad to have a warm hat to wear.
There are very few people here who know about Jesus—hardly anyone has even seen a Bible! The small number of Christians often face persecution. Pray that Christians in Ashgabad would be brave even when they are persecuted, and that more people here learn about Jesus.
