Even though we are all so different, people from every part of the city are brought together through one common passion– futbol. It is very common for a stranger to casually ask which team you support. Almost everyone is a fanatic supporter of their team and proudly displays the team colors. Anywhere you go, you will find a group of boys practicing their dribbling or playing a match, using any open space for a field.
We are passionate about many things, but few get the entire city in such an uproar as an exciting soccer match can. Please pray for the Turks to know the Lord’s passion and love for them.
